It is our daily routine to put lotions and sunscreen on Ashlyn and Alex every morning. Sometimes Alex got a little fuzzy about it, but this morning, he was enjoying putting the lotion on … Daddy.
Summer is here. I am sure many people starting to get in shape and to be ready for the summer months ago, to show off some muscles, and great bodies. Some of them might believe that diet pills will do the trick alone. I am not a believer in diet pills, and I strongly believe exercise and balanced diet are the keys to losing weights and keeping it off. Happy Summer!
Ashlyn just had her 2nd visit to the dental office to fill her cavaties. It went very well the first time. Dr. Ligh specializes in pediatric dentisry, and his office is children friendly. He welcomes parents to stay next to their kids during the procedure to make the children feel more comfortable. In addition, there are TVs installed in the ceiling playing children movies, and each kid gets their own wireless headset. It’s not only entertaining, it can also block out some of the unpleasent sounds of the drills. Ashlyn absolute had no problem when she’s getting her teeth cleaned and fixed, especially this time, she had a therapeutic pulpotomy done. Well, I guess the Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) helped a bit too.
Do I want to take some sales manager jobs? I do not know. For obvious reason, it is attractive, because in a way, it could mean a raise. Knowing myself, I am not a good match for the position. We had a few rounds of lay offs at work place in the past few months, but we were also continuously looking for sales people. I guess the position will always be there, I just have to be ready for it. For now, I will pass.
We had a little birthday celebration for Ashlyn at the child care center last Friday. Ms. Ofelia told me Ashlyn was quite excited about it when they talked about it in the morning.
As part of my job, I act as a buyer for office supplies, office equipments and computer supplies. We always buy online from a particular online store. Why? Because they give out promotional products when our purchase reaches certain level. Every time we buy a large quantity of carton boxes, stretch wraps, and carton sealing tapes. Sometimes, if we are off by a small amount to reach the next level, we would just throw in a few batches of box cutter. Good deal!
Oh My! What’s up with that? Even my 4-year-old, turning 5, daughter, is hooked on Happy Farm on Facebook. She must have forced my aunt to open an account to let her play the game. Geez!
Never knew shopping for a home alarm system could be so complicated. Most companies offer the hardware for free when you subscribe to their alarm monitoring service. We were not able to find a company offers what we want, and with the hardware we desire. We tried to shop for the hardware and service separately, but the cost of the two was way out of our budget. The search continues.
Ashlyn and Alex are very lucky, because all my cousins love them, basically spoil them too, to some extend. Auntie Stephanie spoils them the most. Why? How? She always get them some little gifts whenever she is away for a trip. She just came back from Hawaii, I think she might have went to LA too. Guess what she got Ashlyn and Alex. See for yourself.
Yup, all the sudden, they turned into Supergirl Ashlyn and Batboy Alex.
