Junk (E)Mail

Every morning at work, the first thing I do is to turn on my computer and log on to my email. I get on the average 80 to 100 emails per day, and one thirds of them are junk mails. There are advertisement for herbal pills for whatever purposes, free health and auto insurance quote, vacation deals or what not. Just name it. We really need a much better filtering system at work, this is killing me.

School Pictures

I might have already posted Ashlyn’s school picture, oh well. We just received Alex’s school pictures. Look pretty good. Now, I need to go find where I put Ashlyn’s CD, which definitely will show better quality.

Metal Buildings

When I was living in Hong Kong, I did not find many of the metal buildings, or steel buildings. Those could probably be found away from the cities, and usually used as warehouses. In the states, you can probably find these metal or steel buildings being used for many different purposes. Such as airplane hangar metal buildings, small shops, or mini public storage. They are insulated and can be customized with windows and doors. How interesting.

New Laptop

For one reason or another, I finally got a new laptop computer. My first choice was one of those mini laptop computers, or the netbook, but it was not feasible since Chick and Monkey would be using the laptop quite often, and the small screen was not good for their eyes. Since there was a promotion, we decided to purchase a laptop with 17″ screen. Yup, it is a huge one, but at least I can surf the web and the kids can play their comfortably. No complaint.

Bling Bling

Bling Bling. This is how we refer to diamonds. Diamond is fascinating. How many of you have seen the untreated diamond? I meant diamond in raw form, the rock? It is amazing how the untreated rock could turn into beautiful, sparkling diamonds. My personal favorite shape is the Asscher cut, a square cut diamond with 72 facets, developed by Joseph Asscher in 1902. Bling Bling.

New Cellphone

The last cellphone lasted two years, and still working. It was a Korean brand cellphone, and it was an unlocked phone. I was able to use it in Asia and Europe when we were traveling abroad, that was an advantage. I just upgraded my plan by getting a new cell phone. This time, a Japanese brand. I have not yet unlock the phone, because it would void the warranty, but I would look into this option for sure.

It’s a Girl!

My sister in law, Penny, just confirmed BB#2 is a girl. YAY! I can finally unpack my “private collection” of girl’s clothes from B*berry, Janie*Jack, Nicolas*Bear…etc.

Congrats Jeff, Penny, and Ryan.

Late Night TV

Once a while, I like to stay up late to watch television. Sometimes like to watch re-run movies, sometimes like to watch re-run talk shows, like Ophra and The Tyra show. Often times, there were many late night television commercials in between segments, or programs. The most aired late night TV commercials were skin care related products, such as new gadgets, make up products, or severe acne treatment products. Why can’t they just air the program commercials free?

Nodular Acne

acne nodules? What it is? Large pimples, as big as the eraser on pencil. Painful and could last for months. It is a common form of acne that many people suffer from. Some people choose not to treat it, it could result in severe scarring. If it is not cared properly with experts’ advise and treatment with effective medication, or it could worsen the acne, and would take longer to cure.
