Chick ‘n Monkey

When we decided to purchase a bigger SUV a few years ago, one of the must-have options was the DVD player. It has proven that it’s a life saver on road trips with two toddlers.

Every time we went on road trips, I packed all sorts of toys with us to entertain Ashlyn and Alex. I was looking forward to receiving the toddler tote from NMCToys so that we can test it out over the holiday weekend.

As I was unwrapping the package, Ashlyn and Alex were excited. Both of them were curious about the “toys”. Before I had a chance to explain to them the activities, they already started to explore. Alex grabbed the yellow airplane and raised his hand up high and started flying. As for Ashlyn, she popped out all the animals from the squares, hugging them and pretended they were stuffed animals.

All in all, as a mom, I like the material of the pieces, snug friction fit, light weight, sturdy and easy to clean. The tote itself is good constructed, with easy open and close velcro tape. All the activity pieces are packed neatly in the small carrying tote, ideal for traveling. I look forward for more challenging puzzles and toys from Lauri.
